Hello everyone welcome back to another update hope all is well even if it’s not God’s got you so no worries! Apologies for the extensive gap from the last blog but I’m definitely planning on busting out these wonderful stories more frequently! Actually I have plans for video blogs in the near future to better grasp the heart and vision as well as bringing a more immersive experience instead of scrolling thru paragraphs of texts lol. So, without further ado let’s get at it shall we!
Ask and it shall be given!
“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
–John 14:13&14
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
–Matthew 7:7&8
“Have faith in God.Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.“
—Mark 11:23&24
Alright this is a BIG one pretty much the main theme not just for me but for my fellow squad mates as well at the moment especially as our first deadline for fundraising is due literally next Thursday the 26th of this month of September! So if you want to help support just go here and click donate I’m grateful either way! https://scotttinsley.theworldrace.org/ . So the anxiousness and stress is real but…but I know for a fact that Gods’ got this all of this that there is nothing to worry about at all but to keep giving it to Him trusting and having the faith that what He says is true that whatever we ask for without doubt in the name of Jesus we shall receive! Amen to a generous loving Father who never fails in surprising us, keeping us on our toes as He shows off his goodness as long as we stay diligent, steadfast, and faithful KNOWING He will and has already come thru! Praise be the Father forever and ever AMEN!
I’ve defiantly been challenged these past few weeks in this manner of falling before the Lord relying utterly upon Him to come thru while doing my best to not worry or be anxious or stressed out wondering if I’ll meet the deadline and just being fully funded in general. I’ll be honest having faith in the unknown where I’m unable to see or have any idea where or when the provisions are coming is tough. It’s really stretching me to the point of “whatever God, I don’t care Lord”. Not in a negative giving up way but a “here just take it Lord it’s better off in your hands, I know you will provide, I know you will come thru and even if you don’t, I don’t care because the opportunity alone is an honor and you’ve already revealed how great and good you and your generosity are”. So let it all just be your will God as I continue, as we all continue to be faithful, actively pursuing your ways and doing our part as we simply do our best to wait patiently holding onto your word of truth stated above that whatever we ask for in prayer to believe that we have received it and that it’s ours oh Lord! Don’t let our efforts, prayers, and hard work go in vain but reveal to us your absolute abundance of goodness no matter where we are in life, especially thru this process of gathering funds to be able to embark on this spectacular adventure and opportunity to re-kindle and set a flame the hearts of those we encounter over seas so they can evidently, and tangibly experience this greatness of your love and generosity and allow this time now to condition us, strengthen us, and prepare our hearts for these moments. The mission starts now, not next year!
So, this is more about praising God than anything yes I need financial help and I’m asking for your support in any form of fashion but financially is the biggest area right now so this is me asking in full faith that you whomever you are will beckon the call and help me and everyone else on my squad achieve our goals to be able to make the most of the amazing opportunity! Again go to my World Race page, https://scotttinsley.theworldrace.org/ , click donate even if its a dollar I don’t care because God is good and shall provide regardless I just need help. I can’t do this alone and this is me confessing that it’s hard for me to seek help because I’m a guy who like most guy tries to take control and allow pride to get in the way since we are the “provider”. No more! even if I have one supporter I’ll still make it because I know for a fact that I’m meant to go on this trip. So this is me stepping out of my comfort zone, stepping out in full faith without doubt that God shall provide because I asked Him to in Jesus name so it shall be. So I challenge you as well reading this to come with me on this journey of faith, it’s scary I know trust me I’m terrified but let’s be more confident in God knowing that He has already freely gave us all things thru His great generosity all we must do is receive it in Jesus name, WITHOUT DOUBT! So no worries we got this because He has us!
Again all glory and praise to God cause without Him well we wouldn’t be much of who we are today. Also pray for us, cause boy do we need it. I struggle everyday trying to stay focused on the task at hand to be faithful and diligent thru this process and there are days where I fail, fall-short and don’t accomplish anything then I’m beating and being hard on myself because time is precious and every minute counts not to waste but anyway.
I’ll end it here just to say thank you for even taking the time to read my long blogs even after I say I’m going to keep it short lol. Thank you for being you and doing all that you can when you can. Thank you for your continued support. Above all I love you and be blessed in Jesus name!
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
–Matthew 6:33&34
