It’s early in the morning, the sun gently peeks over the horizon as fresh dew blankets the meadow while I engage in a morning exercise. During my run I’m suddenly cut off by a pack of wolves. My heart instantly rapid fires with fear as the pack closes in growling ferociously, ready to pounce and tear into their prey that’s before them. They attack and I cry for help to the others at camp! One by one I’m wresting, rolling, pushing, prodding, stabbing, and violently fighting for my life as I manage to silence two or three of them before they back off and begin their retreat realizing I am no ordinary prey. There I am breathing heavily, beaten, tattered, and torn bleeding from my arm that was used to shield myself from the relentless jaws seeking to devour me. As I gather myself I’m met with an intent gaze of the alpha. We stare into the depths of each others eyes realizing and acknowledging that this was not the end. It was just the beginning.

As you are reading this, myself and the team have already embarked on an adventure of a life time. A journey that brings a spark of life into the depths of my soul. We are trekking into the wilds of Georgia! We will be hiking and camping for about five days going thru the rough beauty of the wilderness as well as passing thru some remote villages. This is a journey of both personal and group growth as well as leaving the ninety nine for the one in search for whomever God is guiding us to find. As exciting as this may be it definitely will be a challenge but a much needed challenge.

There’s something about unplugging from the masses of society and spending time in the wilderness that stirs and awakens the dormant soul. Coming alive once again while vulnerably diving into fresh new depths of the Father as Creator and LORD in the midst of His raw, natural, unrelenting yet beautiful creation. I mean come on!

You may be wondering what the opening story above has to do with anything. Well that was a vivid vision that God gave me while we were praying into what our time Georgia will look like. I don’t have a clear interpretation yet but it could be literal wolves or metaphoric symbolic wolves representing some form of wrestle or fight manifested one way or another. Only God truly knows. I thought it was pretty intense, wild, and exhilarating though. Even exciting for some odd reason like I’m looking forward towards it.

So, yes this is what we are doing and where we will be for the next week or so. I will not be connected in any form or fashion since, well, no Wi-Fi in the woods you know. I ask that you continue to pray for me and my team especially while on this journey into the wild that we are protected and guided to whomever God is guiding us to.

Love you guys and thank you for being patient and bearing with me while I slowly, but surely keep you updated on my adventures out here on the field.

If you ever want to know any details or stories in depth just message me on Facebook messenger, Instagram or even shoot me a text and I’ll gladly share with you in detail what’s going on out here.

  1. Oh my goodness son! You know your mom’s heart just dropped reading and visioning you fighting off wolves. I THANK GOD AND GIVE HIM PRAISE AND GLORY AS I AM SITTING HERE WITH TEARS ROLLING DOWN MY FACE THAT YOU ARE SAFE! Father in Heaven put a barrier around your children as they go out in the wilderness. Angels be among y’all.
God bless and go wearing the Full Armor of God.
    I love you and hugs

  2. Ok Scotty,
