Here we are huddled together; it’s the final stretch, the final play. It’s 4th and 15 and we need only one more goal to win. We’re tired, worn out, beat down, and pushed back. The enemy is tough but we can’t go down like this, no, we’ve been thru too much; came so far. That’s right it can’t and won’t end like this. We will win! That line will be crossed and we will be victorious!

We shall be the state champions!

The huddle is broken and we head to our positions. There’s a stillness in the air. The crowd is silent; quiet anticipation. This is it no turning back; the only way is forward.

The snap.

We’re all in.

The deciding play.

Hail Mary.

So, what am I getting at? Well, it’s about the one topic I have the hardest time talking and asking for help about. That is…money. I convince myself, out of insecurities and fear, that no one (me) wants to discuss or is not entirely sure how to properly approach and ask for support, especially with what I’m currently doing now.

So, here I am throwing a hail Mary but with the difference in knowing that Coach can surely, without fault, make things happen with you’re help as well. I’m continuing to practice to step out in bold faith that this goal will be achieved and completed without much difficulty because I believe in the Provider; I believe in you and your support because we made it halfway so far and I’m stretching my faith in knowing that I can be fully funded by July 6th or else…I will be sent home.

I’ll be honest I haven’t taken this as seriously as I needed to. That’s on me but while writing this blog it hit me and hit me hard. I’m not ready to leave yet. I can’t. I was robbed of this opportunity prematurely last year because of the pandemic but I’ve been given another chance to finish what was started and for once in my life, I will finish what was started because why else would Coach go so far to keep me in the game? So…I need help. Your help. No more excuses let’s finish strong together.

I am currently halfway funded for the year (thanks Dad!) and I have roughly $7,300 left to be raised. This sounds like an intimidating number but let me break it down and show you how small it is in comparison to what our Provider can do. So, from today to July 6th that’s 14 days.

If you take $7,300 and divide it by those 14 days you get $520/day that needs to be raised.

That’s only:

Ten people giving $52/day.

Fifteen people giving $32/day.

Twenty-five people giving $20/day.

Fifty people giving $10/day.

Totally doable when broken down this way! When more people are joined together the quicker it can be defeated.

Trust me I get it life happens and we all have something to do and take care of but this monster of a number will only be slain to nothingness once you decide to play your part in the game. Championships aren’t won by single talent alone, no, it takes the whole team coming together giving everything they have for one common goal. So, we all have to be fully committed.

It’s taken me up to this point to realize the reality before me but I finally got my game face on. I’m out here on the field in the midst of fierce competition and you’re in the stands cheering and encouraging me to stay in the game. To play my heart out. To persevere.

Without you there’s no game, no game equals no team. Your support keeps me in the game to prevent the opposing side from gaining yards. There are billions of people in our conference area who have not heard of or experienced Victory. The only way to make that happen and share this Victory is to travel with me and provide the way to the very end. It’s worth it.

Share this with others you know, donate, and partner with me in prayer; standing in faith that the Provider will and already has provided what’s necessary to continue this journey. Thank you to those who have helped out already it’s definitely been a blessing.

So, here’s my hail Mary pass that was thrown to each of you knowing it will be caught and ran with for the game-winning point. So, let’s all celebrate together the Victory that is before us!

“Oh my my this is real life
Get knocked down over 7,000 times
Here’s your choice stay low or get up and fight
Look at us getting up up up”
